This apology was well, well overdue. Nevertheless, I am pleased that Mark Scott has finally come to the same conclusion as all persons, with any sense of decency.
But Did Mark come to this very sensible and decent conclusion of his own volition, or did he finally realised how it has tarnished the reputation of the ABC? Or did he see the writing on the wall, and realised that if an apology was not forthcoming, it would further tarnish his, and the ABC's, reputation?
And how about an apology from the ABC female executive who effectively declared 'it was just a bit of fun'.
