re: looking good!crystal ball/short1 Imo Short its dependant on where they are targeting the sp for the equity issue for Perkoa finance in the short/medium term(say 6 months). They will need to be able to do this and still give enough upside to the sp for any UK funds that will be involved in the equity issue as its a fairly big bet that Aim will be raising this equity capital in the UK.
If all holds with the development of Perkoa and the sp continues its current solid trend(albeit volatile)then its looking like the issue might be made around 10c.This opinion is only using seat of the pants judgement in regards to the fund upside issue, the current chart in conjunction with the mention by the company that they are looking at 3-6 months for finance to be finalised. If one extrapolates the chart to a position around 3-6 months forward, based on the current trend that takes the sp to about 10c.I would think they will probably be aiming to get the sp to the low teens then make the issue at 10c as the issue/placement takers always like a bit of a premium to market, for obvious reasons.
In terms of further upside past the equity issue, thats largely dependant on the dilution that comes from that issue.IF the above assumptions turn out to be correct then based on a 10c issue they will require US$32M which will require the issue of around 400Mshares (apologies to Parrot, now I see why you were going with 400M/still doesnt overly effect good sp upside though Parrot) .This will leave about 900M on issue and with the projects NPV at around $197M,assuming its development is successful and it produces as expected then an sp of around 20-22c is not out of the question.
This does not attribute any current further upside possible as a result of the poZn which is likely to be strong over the next 1-2 years due to Chinese demand.
Just my thoughts on the subject Short1.Its why I hold some Aim/Aimo.
