Not once in the previous 200 posts has anyone come close to producing ideas and alternatives to the pension problem.
There are those who beat their own drums and those so off target you wonder why they bother.
Alternatives, solutions, planning, response, financing etc are all a part of this very complex problem that needs fixing.
Financial engineering you say? Ok, how many new retirees with a small super payout say 'let's blow the super on a good time/travel then go on the pension"?
This can be prevented and utilized toward sensible pension planning, among many other things.
Our system is too lax and previous governments too loth to tamper with our "birthright" as some clown put it.
Solutions not yapping are required.
Onward and upward.....
Meanwhile tomorrows growth figures out of China will move markets, one way or the other. I believe we're in for a roller coaster market ride before Easter.
