Lets not argue it. The Vodafone proposition is Cheap Data via MachineLink technology. All elevators need a phone line in them. Its stated on their m2m website. Vodafone need to ensure the reliability of the technology that has been promised and have 'ownership' of all the technology. There is more to it than just replacing a phone line. They need to be able to connect real time diagnostic data to the network (hence the need for Machinelink + Linux. They arent going to allow a patch work quilt setup. NTC will benefit from this deal. NTC is cheap. You get a few more deals like this here and there and this stock is at $1. Im happy if the stock gets cheaper. Im concentrating my portfolio on this winner.
