i guess we will eventually know what actually was done on the rig. all very interesting discussion but i guess not much left to cover without more info. however i note in finishing that if a slightly underbalanced brine was used in the hole then the chance of any significant formation damage is pretty minimal, particularly with these old hard low perm rocks.
