The voting to join Russia was spectacularly successful in Crimea.
In Sevastopol the vote to join Russia was 123% of registered voters.
We are not "Neo-Nazi scumbags" here in Ukraine as some of you have claimed in this thread.
Imagine if China invaded Tasmania, held a referendum in which 96% voted to join China, including 123% of the registered voters in Hobart.
Then China followed this up by sending soldiers disguised at Australian civilians into the main cities of Australia (lots of Chinese in Australia) and took over the town halls, local government offices, millitary bases, airports amd blocked train lines across the East Coast.
Then, when Australia used force to re-take the government buildings and infrastructure from the Chinese "civilians," China claimed it was a civil war and sent in the navy and airforce to protect ethnic Chinese civilians from racist Nazi Australian aggression.
Imagine that and you have some idea what is going on here in Ukraine.
I will not return to this thread as I know many of you are fans of Putin and I can't be bothered to have an on-line argument from the other side of the world, I did however, want the opportunity to place before you an example you may be able to understand.
