dark holes

I have been wondering about the .25c increments on the ADO Today's Trades .

On Friday the bid was 19c and ask was 19.5c

I told my broker that I wanted to bid at 19.25c.

He said that he would try and then ring me.

So I was surprised when he rang and said that he had been successful at 19.25c as I had not seen that bid on the screen.

I asked if he had done it on CHI-X.

He then explained that he had done it on what he called DARK HOLES

He had put the 19.25 into the DARK HOLE where some other broker wanted to sell at 19.25c.

As soon as the bids "met" the sale was shown on the ASX Todays Trades.

It gave me a quick 1% gain
