    You are totally dismissing historical evidence.

    Since evolution is a slow process over thousands of generations, if you
    insist on seeing it occur in the short space of a human's lifetime, you
    need to study organisims that have a rapid generation time.

    Viruses evolve rapidly. That's why every year there's a new vaccine.
    Bacteria evolve rapidly. That's why penicillin no longer works and
    researcher race to develop stronger antibiotic.
