maybe we need actual candidates in the senate to vote for rather than voting for the party and taking pot luck with who ever the party decides
if we actually had to vote for an actual person maybe it would be different
i am still underwhelmed by how gillard chuted bob carr not only into the senate but also into foreign plum role minister without him even going thru an elction
