Somaliland President Travels to Norway and Germany Hargiesa, Somaliland 23 December 2005 Somaliland president traveled to Norway and Germany. In Norway the president and his delegation traveled to the city of Stavanger and held meetings with petroleum consortium to explore the potential exploration and development of oil and gas resources of Somaliland. The president and his delegation later traveled to Hanover, Germany and met with the Teutonia company officials, a subsidiary of Heidelburg Cement Group, which is the fourth largest cement producer in the world. The two parties agreed on the exploration of Somaliland cement production and development.
