I want to add that as a consequence of Sunridge's offer, the Canadian share price rose by about $1.
They would'nt be too keen seeing that price fall by that amount if the deal did'nt go finally through.
On the other hand. I don't expect the current SBS price to drop below 11-12 cents if the deal collapsed.
So, one could say that the incentive for Sunbridge for having a successful takeover could be even greater than it is for SBS as shown in this and my previous post.
In any horse trading, these things do matter: who has the most to lose should there be no deal?
