it would be the mind prior to the human mind, the pre-existant being.

Although making a general theistic argument with absolute morality.

The basis of a Christian view is that man is created in the image of God. Rape would be an insult to Gods creation, the value of a human being is related to its creator therefore it can be catagorily stated that rape is Absolutely wrong not from a relative perspective.

A creator gives the possibility of absolute values not dependent on the personal taste or biases of man or the social contract of the society a human being may existant in some point in time.

    Scripture appears to condemn rape.

    Deuteronomy 22:25–27
25 “But if in the field the man finds the girl who is engaged, and the man forces her and lies with her, then only the man who lies with her shall die.
26 “But you shall do nothing to the girl; there is no sin in the girl worthy of death, for just as a man rises against his neighbor and murders him, so is this case.

27 “When he found her in the field, the engaged girl cried out, but there was no one to save her.

Where you and I probably diverge in views is that I don't believe that there is any evidence to support the notion that scripture is divine, but was written by human beings.

I'm nor saying that scripture does not contain good bits, but I find nothing that could not have written by human beings.

So you may be asking the wrong person as to whether rape is absolutely or relatively wrong. I appreciate that there may be people around who think that they can justify rape. I'm just not one of them. I'm absolutely convinced that rape is wrong, and can't think of any scenarios which may justify it (rape). I don't need a higher power to convince me of that.
