My wife and I were there a few weeks ago visiting friends. We stayed the other side of third road away from the racket.
There was a big bikie run or something happening. Lots of Hells Angels around. A few came into a bar, we were having a quiet drink. Have to say they were perfect gentlemen compared to the usual English or Australian.
Saw a guy in a bar with his shirt off and great big gut hanging out. He'd had liposculpture of his gut so that it looked like he had a sixpack. Really weird but funny.
Pattaya is a freak show and well worth the visit. Lots of sad miserable looking Russians. Is that a national trait? All the middle eastern guys look like potential rapists. Is that a national passtime?
Heaps of tight arse Indians walking in groups of four or five. Although it pays to be a tight arse if you head over to Jomtien at night. Lots of pretty boys. lol.
