re: Ann: Springsure Creek Project- Close Publ... For the few that want to discuss the stock:
Here's another very recent and similar case:
"The application was brought before the Land Court in September 2013, with a decision handed down on 8 April 2014."
http://www.mondaq.com/australia/x/308214/Mining/HG+Resources+and+Energy+Alert+Alpha+Coal+decision+brings+water+issues+to+the+forefront+16+April+2014
So there it is: 7 months for that case, and I strongly doubt the MLA can be granted prior to the land court ruling?
If anyone knows otherwise, please say so instead of merely insinuating I lack integrity.
So given this case and Xstrata's long case I assume BND will be tied up in court for many months despite what they are saying in ASX releases:
The last quarterly:
"The Queensland Department of Environment and Heritage Protection is expected to issue the draft environmental authority (EA) for MLA70486 in February 2014, a delay from Bandanna Energy’s December 2013 expectation. Consequently, the Company revised the likely timing for the grant of MLA70486 to June 2014."

All of this probably sits well with the Newman government too given the statement made wrt to this project prior to election, which places not only Bandanna, but all other developers in the region in jeopardy as is the key port infrastructure.
It's no wonder Queensland is running a massive deficit: It's a banana bender republic!
What we see here are deadlines that are slipping, slipping and interesting in the light of that very large share lending agreement.
So, the next quarterly is due soon and I personally doubt that we will see that sentence in it: "likely timing for the grant of MLA70486 to June 2014".
So there it is BND staff, I am calling you out on this:
Truth or dare; will you still tag June 2014 for the 'likely' MLA approval? Will the sentence vanish? Dont just put it in on my account!
