However, the specific compound identified for Janssen is IN THE PROCESS of validation ("In conjunction with Janssen, Phylogica has been making significant progress towards validation of one of its proprietary technology – the Endosomal Escape Trap (EET) ...")

The patent for the first has been issued, the therapeutic use of the second has not yet been issued.

When we see this second patent, a deal will most likely follow.

Do not underestimate the value of the Phylomer composition, screening, and various ancillary technologies patented over the past decade. Valuation is always a tricky issue ... but my view is that 30cents, rather than 3cents, is closer to the mark.
