For Perrine to leave Microsoft and join TZL for lunch money, I would assume he saw enough upside in TZL to make the switch. Both former Microsoft execs appear to have the credentials to run the TFS ship should they acquire it.
In the announcement of 30/11/05, CK made the point that they understand in some depth the TFS business and that IFT is a central part of the TFS growth plan. In addition, he notes that they have developed excellent relationships with TFS management.
I think D Day will be the analyst briefing day for TXT. If nothing is announced by that date, Im sure analysts will pressure them for some news.
