Moon, I agree strongly. If he increases taxes I will think he has been captured by the public servants and doesn't have the ticker for the job.
Here's some easy savings; 1) Stop all foreign aid outside of PNG and the South Pacific. 2) stop all funding to the UN. 3) stop funding peoples hobbies. Sports, Opera, music and art are all nice. Those that like these things should pay for them. 4) Stop legal aid for refugees. 5) Stop PPL for public servants and don't start it for private employees. etc.
