G'day Arthur,
Ten percent at risk on a single trade seems awfully high to me. Most of the texts that I have recommend only risking 2% of your capital on any one trade. Often people think this means that if you have a bank of $100k you can only buy $2k of a stock. What it actually means is that your position size and stoploss should be such that if the trade goes against you and yoiu stop out then your loss is no maore than 2%.
Funny that you should mention Madcow, we (Mrs G and I) were just wondering this morning how he and the Vodoo Chook are going in these tough times.
