The following passage taken from a quote given by the Chinese Defence Ministry in relation to joint naval drills between China and Russia in the East China Sea 'to raise the ability to jointly deal with maritime security threats' should send cold shivers down the spine of the Japanese and serve as a warning to the US that if they get involved in the territorial dispute between China and Japan that China can count on Russia's participation in any conflict on their side.
I wonder how long it will be before we see Chinese submarines and warships in the Black Sea in return for Russia's support of China in the East China Sea?
I watched a CNN special six years ago involving one of China's top brass who dismissed NATO as a mosquito that China would swat and that simply put compared to China it was puny. China is not scared of anyone, least of all NATO it would seem and neither is Russia.
