Unless of course there is a Depression. Not likely in the short,medium or long term IMO.
Sorry if I sound a bit glib. But anyone who is putting away 50K in Super, even shared with his missus, I would expect not to have any major problems come hell or high water.
But then you may have some major outgoings you don't specify.
