balls or cylinder pellets?

Does anyone know if they are using spherical balls or cylinder pellets?

I think JDC will finally be successful come June. Bentonite should work wonders and illiminate the dust problems.

Bentonite is predominatly SiO2 and Al2O3 (sand and sluminium). The boiling point for these are above 2000 degrees c. So it will not burn in the kiln, therefore additional gases will be released into the hydrator.
They will need to tinker with the correct mixing volumes, however there is no real restriction is the amount of bentonite that can be used ie 1%-50% pellet volume. Due to the fact that the bentonite will not burn. So they have a very wide arc and in my opinion, will not fail in increasing pellet strength in coming weeks.

I think we have 2 months to accumulate. I am hoping to double up under 8c (woohooo).

    some notes:
round ball pellets, not cylinder pellets. increases strength under heat
while bentonite is best binder, strength values begin to plateau after 700degrees
bentonite will not burn, thus no additional gases will be let off into hydrator
the greater amount of water added to pellets while mixing, prior to drying, less strength in kiln.
