oorain - you clearly don't watch the show, or just don't pay attention. The show always posts statistics of the audience's persuasion beforehand, and it's always evenly balanced between ALP and Lib supporters.
The reason Tony doesn't go in it is simple - he can't handle the pressure of questions without notice, and this has been the case since Leigh Sales handed his ass to him on a plate seeral years ago - no interviews.
