Yes bortgm they did indeed have strong demand from AU institutions, however this demand was not entirely satisfied, some wanted more, some just wanted in, hence they missed out. As for sophisticated investors well I tried and no chance, I had to buy on market.
As for the newly issued script hitting the market, the benefit of having plenty of interest is that it allows the company to choose the best (highest grade) capital, these funds are on board to share in the LNG vision. Nice to have the freedom of choice as opposed to having to pick up the phone and calling Mac.
