Many Australians will feel rightly pissed off if federal and state politicians as senior civil servants and judges manage to preserve their rights to access pensions at a lower age than their similar age general public cohort. For those with fat super balances why shouldn't they access their super (as a pension) as planned many years beforehand. The "independent panel" argument with repeat to their terms and conditions is bullshit. Similarly any talk about their incomes etc versus the private sector are bullshit. They are all capable of getting a job after office.
