Beddo they didn't say drilling would take 40 days they said it could take 40 days if TROUBLE free.

It wasn't trouble free they rarely are , its never wise to take any timetable for drilling or anything else involved with it to seriously, management by nature will always put the best outcome but they usually qualify it as they have in this case.

I doubt anyone including management thought it would take that long but its an industry plagued with delays.

The previous well is a better indicator but no two wells are the same.
