Same old, same old about tax avoidance schemes. About equal sharing.
There isn't equal sharing with a progressive tax system and there wouldn't be a need for the so called avoidance schemes if the top marginal rates didn't penalize personal services or PAYG income tax earners.
Dave please try and tell me how our current progressive system is share. Its can't be fair because its the law because the tax schemes that you and many moan about are all legal.
Its hard to argue its fair when it isn't an equal percentage. It definitely isn't fair when one considers actual dollar amounts paid by an average earner compared to a high earner.
Its only fair if you take the view "they can afford to pay".
