News Corp’s (ASX:NWS) revenue fell 5 per cent in the third quarter to March to $2.08 billion.
The diversified media company blamed the slip in rvenue on currency fluctuations, lower advertising revenues and the sale of the Dow Jones Local Media Group.
The company’s net income dove from $323 million to $48 million with the sale of Sky Network Television, the New Zealand pay-tv operator.
News Corp reported a net profit of $227.9 million in the first half of the 2014 financial year.
