How anyone could possibly assert that to behave and live well you must believe and follow the teachings of a book written over a couple hundred years by dozens of people, a couple thousand years ago... Plenty of outstanding, moral, benevolent people in society that don't need to quote passages to maintain and achieve their respectable existence.

But to then assert that one's personal revelation is superior and more true than someone on the other side of the world who has experienced and felt the exact same thing, via a different teaching - pure arrogance and entirely bigoted!
