One option is a licensing deal on the back of interim or final OS data out of Can-003 or alternatively interim data out of Can-004b.

I would rate the chances of this extremely low for Can-003 data – no matter how positive. A licensing deal is really only going to be possible on the back of very good final data out of Can-004b but the money runs out before then.

That is after all the whole aim of Can-004b as a proof of concept trial ... to entice a licensing deal on the basis of results robust for someone to take to P3.

The hint ... if we can call it that is in the report as follows:

"At some point in time, Prima BioMed needs to raise sufficient capital to complete the CAN-004b trial. Its ability to do so could depend in part on the additional PFS and OS data from the CAN-003, and it should benefit from the ever increasing interest in cancer immunotherapies."

In other words there will be a capital raising (not a licensing deal). This will occur the very second that the door is ajar (some positive results somewhere). Being in the position of having started a Oncology trial without sufficent funds to complete it ... is actually something that probably needed a bit more of a look at before it was approved.

Im not sure why this is a difficult line of thought to follow to be honest ...
