If it is true that Wharf has terminated its legal rep there is usually two reasons for this, one is they didnt accept the advice they were given and the other reason is not happy with the costs that might be charged. Either way there are a few options.

One is Wharf doesnt show, the court makes a judgement exparte, in the absence of Wharf. The funds in escow from condensate sales are distributed to the remaining JV Partners.

Two Wharf seeks a further adjournment citing the inability to secure legal representation etc, this is a hurdle they have to jump and probably would however costs would be awarded against them etc.

Third Wharf gets a new lawyer who seeks an adjournment given the short notice of engagement - see above to costs.

Four we soldier on regardless and a judgment is made.
