The level of child abuse (physical and sexual) in Aboriginal communities is a filthy dark secret that no-one is government is prepared to talk about, let alone solve.
Same for domestic violence against Aboriginal women in those same communities.
If it was happening in 'mainstream' Australian communities, there would be an absolute outrage, and rightly so.
But because of the fear that do-gooders etc. will jump on the bandwagon, there is nothing done for the plight of these poor little kids and bashed up women.
