Disagree with front loading your own deficit blaming the lot on Labor (it was both) then hypocritically undoing Howard's freezing of indexation of fuel excise. Disagree with deregulation of Universities however helping trades also sounds ok on the face of it. The budget isn't really structurally fixed. The growth projections are a little optimistic. He has just cut predominately on class but hasn't really genuinely improved the fiscal position structurally in terms of revenue. He says its a spending issue, which in part it is especially in terms of borrowing costs, but then fiddles with the revenue side. Bit of a stinker really.
