It will be interesting to see the impact of our Australia Day break. The markets are currently up and down on a two day cycle. Our close tomorrow will miss an "up-day" and hence be caught on the Friday down. This notional 0.5% loss is hard to recover as currently traders tend to only focus on the global trends/sentiments rather than actual individual stock fundamentals. So if my theory is right......tomorrow's holiday could be quite expensive.
