"How do you know? Why is the evidence of Jesus resurrecting any more reliable than present day resurrections?"





A number of reasons.


First, hundreds of prophecies foretell the arrival of Gods son upon the Earth so that his perfect life could be given for a perfect life lost. Prophecy is what sets the bible apart from all other so called religious writings. Just ask Alexander the Great.

Second, Jesus wasn't killed for being a liar or a charlatan. He was in fact killed for blasphemy. Even his enemies never questioned that he performed miracles or raised the dead.

Third, look at what befell the nation of Israel after Jesus was killed. If he wasn't the messiah as some claim, then the Jewish people are still awaiting his arrival after 2000 years of wondering the Earth. The place that held the temple now has a mosque. So not likely for the messiah to fulfill prophecy by teaching in a mosque.




And finally, if anyone had the power to raise the dead today, they'd be selling it on Ebay. So no matter what you've heard I can assure you that no one is raising the dead today.
