Cheers WhiteNoise and Modula, I must admit my expectations were pretty low for any Ungani 3 result, so I guess even 300 bfpd is ok (initial testing), considering that U3 was pretty much viewed by all as a total failure.
If as you say 300 bopd is achieved WhiteNoise, then I will be quite happy. Any idea if after possible acid treatment that even higher and sustainable rates could be achieved? Ball park figures.. guesstimates...
I recently posted that I bemoaned the likelihood that Ungani-3 would need to be fracced before any testing could be undertaken, very happy to have been proven wrong in this regard, although in the future, could fraccing the well increase production? (I realise its a vertical well, so perhaps only a horizontal well might justify such an undertaking).
Lastly, if Ungani North is to be DST, do they really need specialist equipment to do so?
