How could the British and American pollies convince their citizens, immediately after the conclusion of a war that killed and wounded millions of their people, and devastated and impoverished Europe, convince their citizens to immediately start another war? And whilst the USA was till fighting a war against Imperialist Japan.

And why would any country or person even contemplate consider the remote possibility of teaming up with such a cruel and insanely mad figure as Hitler.
