Trademanic, how about answering the question?
Did Daniel disobey God? Did he actually "shut up the words, and seal the book until the end"? If not, how can you say that he didn't disobey Him?
You are encapsulating the thread header in your roundabout avoidance of God's written word. To me, the communication is clear. "You, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the end;" For some reason, you say that he couldn't have understood it. If that had been me, I'd have been "yes God, sure thing God, all shut up and sealed oh Almighty one!"
Then I might have sat down and thought "Dunno what that was all about, really, but what He said was crystal clear. Mine is not to understand His ways and means."
