Thinkinloudly on the ATO issue- on 26 Feb 2014 the company announced:

"The Company expects to lodge appeal notices with the Federal Court of Australia by 28 April 2014. The appeal process could take some time."

But we haven't heard anything to confirm that had occurred or if they are still talking to the ATO and maybe negotiating some sort of settlement. It seems to take forever to get stuff sorted.

For example it took the ATO 2 years to decide that they were disallowing our objection. I guess they want 2 years of interest for taking that long as well.

One would assume that if they were confident of their position they could have looked at what CFE had to say and disallow the objections within days. Not 2 years!

So little seems to be happening so it makes me wonder if CFE employees are just sitting back and having some sort of extended office party.
