japan court rules against nuclear restart in r, page-9

"there had been two other rulings by courts supporting plant closures... Those rulings were eventually overturned by higher courts in favor of nuclear operators, she said."

My question is, when were these two other rulings? Pre-Fukushima? If so, that doesn't mean very much. Since Fukushima the sentiment of many people in Japan has shifted, including members of the Judiciary. Rulings of a nature that in the past would likely have been overturned may instead now be upheld by higher courts.

I'm banking on the higher court upholding the decision and quite frankly I'm personally satisfied that it is the right decision, despite being a Paladin shareholder.

If I am not mistaken this power plant is one of the closest plants to Tokyo (if not the closest). In terms of risk management I think its prudent for this plant not to be restarted, with or without a fault line running underneath it. The prospect of all of Tokyo being evacuated in the event of the unthinkable happening is just not something I want to contemplate, particularly if the uranium is sourced from a company I have invested in.

Plenty of other power plants in Japan that are placed in safer locations.
