Transpower advises that Cynthia Brophy, General Manager People and Corporate
Relations has decided to leave Transpower at the end of June 2014.

Cynthia Brophy has worked for Transpower since 2006, starting as General
Manager Corporate Affairs prior to the start of the company's national grid
upgrade programme.  In 2011, she was promoted to the position of General
Manager People and Corporate Relations, responsible for the Human Resources
functions of the company as well as Corporate Affairs.

"Cynthia has made an excellent contribution to the company, and to the
Transpower Board," said Chief Executive Alison Andrew. "She will continue
working with us on an as required basis as an advisor and we wish her all the
best for her future."
