The underlying message in this thread is that even Tony Abbott cannot put his head in the environmental sand. Nor can he mis-represent global concerns with impunity.
The decision by Deutsche Bank NOT to fund the expansion of the terminal at Abbot Point should be ringing corporate alarm bells - even if WE are into environmental vandalism, THEY will not fund it!
In effect Australia is being treated with a similar level of contempt to that shown by the Abbott Govt when it all but boycotted the global talks in Warsaw.
