Maybe some or all of those contributed, but also it took some time for it to become evident, and then longer still for it to be obvious, and then longer still for people to accept it. I'll stop short of saying that management deliberately deceived us into thinking the wells were more economic than they are, but they have certainly never actively worked towards the goal of everyone understanding how poor the well economics are, and could have made (and still could make) it more clear very easily.
