With my backflip and newfound negative view of this - problems with grade reconciliation mentioned now and a previous head of ops resignation actually begin to generate more questions.
I obviously wouldn't know if the other directors wanted a fall guy, or if they had a change of opinion as to his suitability for the very senior role he had (or both). We might get more of an impression of what the other directors were thinking in future announcements.
No matter what, it will obviously be very bad news if there is a reserves downgrade coming down the track.
