    Lookandsee,,,

Yes agree... SWE having Ken Russell with his West And East African experience would of determined the way they were to proceed in the Tanzanian business environment. However this doesn't make them impervious to deceit, cunning or out manouvered... cornered into a position that sees no way out but to compromise ones self for survival, and thats why theyre dancing with the d.....

Previously in 2008, I got the impression that Russell's Key Petroleum was run with rigidly high ethical standards with the assumption that they could progress with these in place under the protective umbrella of mining legislation. Hahaa, too naive I thought at the time, but just in case I waited see if it would erode the will of the Tanzanians..... they've got a patience that is hard to comprehend as a time conscience westerner - its there weapon.

This time around, Russell &co have welcomed in questionable stakeholders it seems, in a strategy to align would be gatekeepers/ blockers interests with the fortunes of the company. I thought it was a good strategy. As was the strategy to be an early and fast mover to control prime areas before the TPDC cottoned on to what they were giving away and being sold on for a free carry. Well game over. Mengis setting up shop in a way ( vertical integrated industry monopoly ) that may of not been anticipated. I know what I'd do if I were SWE :)
