Pitiful lows? Harden up. I would encourage anyone thinking of taking on a massive mortgage to look very closely at the comparison rates, including what margins the bank is lending.
As the RBA put it last week, people paying too much now and relying on growth to cover the debt are in for a shock, and when those 3yr fixed rates revert to trend rates, its a world of pain waiting for anyone highly leveraged.
