How does Australian sentiment has been doing since the budget was tabled in parliament?

In one word: crushed.

How has European sentiment has been doing before and since the election?

One world: hmmmmm

Feel free to add US sentiment and any other major country & market that you wish.

From a technical perspective: look at the bond markets v stock markets, not that hard to see the divergence.

Trader sentiment: "this must be the most hated bull market in history".

In regard to your list of 'market stoppers' - anything can stop a very fragile market, you could try a fat finger:-).

I am open to suggestion from you for the best method to spot market turning points.
