    Seeing the adjusted GDP figure earlier, I was then staggered to hear on the world service that the UK is now following Italy in including prostitution and illegal drugs in their GDP numbers going forward. Apparently, the office of statistics estimate that £17 billion was spent last year on those pursuits and that it will add 0.7% to GDP numbers......I am speechless......!
