Apparently some of you have been missing me,

Yes You've just got to laugh at the Antares board.

Refused a sale for $300M even although the majority of shareholders approved it.

Now Lone Star come to play they change there tune about minority influence and acting in the best interests of all shareholders.

Lone Star being a distraction, a distraction from what counting there grossly inflated salaries or stopping their holidays.

I mean when was the last time this board truly acted in the interest of all shareholders?

We were to get meaningful monthly reports etc, remember them, when was the last time you saw one?

Did you get meaningful information on the terms of the sale or on the well performance that in 10 days caused the board of directors to completely change there minds, no not one bit of it.

The information control freak, wouldn't let anything out.

We've been fed presentations time & time again that say one thing on one slide and something completely different on the next.

Oh that $700K interest free loan to the Chairman must be a worry in case it needs to be paid back rather quickish.

Are Lone Star the answer? maybe not but they have finally set the ball in motion.

Time for Schroders to finally get there a*se in gear and get involved in sorting this company out. Something they should have done over 3 years ago when asked to do so. Wanted to get pally with the board instead and we all know where that's got us.

Lots of pigeon's coming home to roost.

Maybe at some point they will remember about the ordinary shareholders in all of this.

Until then, let them fight it out.

A new board is definitely required, but lets look at them individually as to the skill set they can bring to the table and we don't want them just from one nominating source either.
