tgn I hope you're not right with your comment about the liklehood of extended time due to protestor-induced delays :).
I can't understand the logic behind the approval, (or otherwise) timeframe set by the council. I mean it isn't as though the application to drill would have come as a bolt of the blue to them, surely both Cuadrilla and the council would be in regular communique with one another, and why give the protesters such a long lead time to mount any proposed action.
No wishing to offend any person of British nationality by this comment, and I know someone else has previously made this remark, but their decision making process is almost laughable, yes it makes me wonder how the British did win the war.
