" housing needs to be affordable for the young and new familys with single incomes. "
Here you go, a townhouse for 249,000 in sydney needing a little TLC

Or were you implying that a young family on a single average income of $75k should be able to live in the wealthiest suburbs in the city ?
Some people i know have sacrificed big blocks and cardboard houses further out for units/townhouses in more desirable suburbs close to work and better education options for the children.
Also, can one of the Bears please outline what they plan to do to when the crash arrives ? Will you be buying and then harp on about property hitting rock bottom and the only way is up ? Timed the market perfectly ?
MOST people can afford to buy (as they have always done), and it is obvious you people cannot afford to do so otherwise you would not spend most of your time on here complaining. Even if i were in your position i certainly would not be harping on hoping for crash all day long on forums and comments sections of property news articles.... It's pitiful
